Who Am I?

You may be wondering who I am and why I would undertake such a project. I'm not a professional writer or even a blogger and I have no meaningful social media presence. Ultimately I'm just a fan of retro games.

My only industry creds begin way back in 1994 when I wrote a book about video games called The Good, The Bad, & The Bogus (aka TGTB2). You can probably find it on eBay or Amazon, although I have a few boxes full of copies at home. You might say I've cornered the market on this particular commodity.

The publication of TGTB2 led to my writing a weekly column in the local newspaper and articles for magazines like 3-2-1 Contact.

I then worked at Nintendo on the Nintendo Power staff in 1996 and again in 1998-1999, in what was my final foray into the video game industry.

These days I'm an avid collector and gamer, in addition to my more important roles as husband, father, Christian, and software engineer.
