Bazooka Blitzkrieg for SNES

Bazooka Blitzkrieg

Pew pew. Robots go boom.

Genre: shooter - gallery

Publisher: Bandai

Year: 1992

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 1

Gameplay Notes:

Scrolling gallery shooter like Operation Wolf, but with robots instead of Vietnamese and Russian soldiers. Insanely difficult. Hit points are often tiny and don't seem to take damage when they're supposed to, like the green eyeballs on the level 2 boss. Also some projectiles are unavoidable like the aforementioned green eyeballs or the many enemies who use machine guns rather than missiles. You have to be both fast and accurate.

Level Design Score: 2

Level Design Notes:

Only 3 or 4 levels. They're all the same left to right scroll with occasional stupid for bosses and mini bosses. Pretty uninspired stuff

Theme Score: 2

Theme Notes:

Very nice for a Super Scope game.

Art Style Score: 3

Art Style Notes:

Washed out colors. Everything is soft and pastel. Nicely drawn anime enemies

Audio Score: 3
