Pure nostalgia might invite you to try this driving sim but there's nothing to draw you in. This is the most paper thin game ever made.

Art Style

The dithering is omnipresent. Half of the polygons are a flat color and texture while the alternating polygons are a pixelated mess. Truly horrifying.
That said, the framerate is much better than Race Driving on SNES. But yeah, this game is hideous.

Audio

A rare example of a Genesis game with worse music than sound effects. The engine noise is satisfying as are the tire squeal and...the crash isn't too bad. Maybe that's all the noises. Hmm

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
