Gameplay

Movement is responsive. Left right and jump work ok although your jump is very short.
Virtually no offensive means. You can throw gears or bop enemies.
Taking damage takes off a limb. Kind of novel but not particularly interesting.
Enemies pop out for cheap hits so inch along and get enemies off screen. Boring
Enemies respawn
Impossible short time.
Die once and the game ends.

Level Design

Again mostly just enemies popping out for cheap hits but the levels themselves aren't bad. Fair jumps and platforms and even fun elements like launchers that throw you across the screen like in Sonic.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
