Jurassic Park

Must go faster. Must go faster.

Gameplay

Plays completely different than the SNES version. Instead of a Zelda style game it plays like a cross between Stargate and Prince of Persia.
Controls are challenging and rigid like PoP while there's a bit of trigger happy gun action. Except for the fact that the game runs at a glacial place and slowdown happens constantly. Just jumping causes the game to slow to a crawl.
Hard to place yourself just right to climb ladders, make jumps, grab ledges, and duck.
Massive lag on inputs.
Short jump.
Despite all that it's playable once you adjust to its quirks.

Level Design

First level is a long descent out of the tallest trees this side of Avatar. Sorry I don't remember that planet's name.
Second level is your standard Western maze.
Boring stuff.
Platforming is insanely hard with the bad controls and the game requires too much of you at times.
Usable ladders and platforms are hard to distinguish.
A bit of a mess I'm afraid.

Theme

Cool movie. Shooting dinos ought to be a good time and this follows the story of the book/movie well enough.

Art Style

Horribly grainy. Poster child for how drab and unremarkable the average Genesis game is compared to the average SNES title.

Audio

Some nice tracks but the sounds used can be grating. But it's the sounds that truly run the experience. They're loud, pervasive, and maddening. The electrical shocks in level 2 thru me over the edge.
