Mario clone. Gimmick is an attack where you swing a set of shadow clones which trail behind you. Think Ninja Gaiden 2 or The Wonderful 101. You can also bop enemies. Movement is annoyingly slow which makes platforming more difficult than it ought to be. Oh and boss battles are rock, paper, scissor matches. Why did this show up in multiple platformers? So weird.
