Gameplay

Plays like the final form of all those THQ licensed games. Bad hit detection, no i-frames, etc. But this time around the controls are responsive and combat makes sense.
Platforming works fine.
Two attacks - whatever weapon you've got (extend o boxing glove or grenades) or dashing and running into an enemy. That last feature is actually amazing. It's the solution for all these Sonic style games. Instead of avoiding your top shows this game rewards you for using it.
Again the controls work fine and the game is incredibly easy. Even so the devs thought you needed help so they give Normy a thought bubble to tell you what to do next.

Level Design

Pretty standard stuff. Levels go on way too long

Theme

The theme is a PG rated Leisure Suit Larry story where a doofus has to rescue pretty girls who've been abducted by aliens and whisked off to various timelines. So maybe there's some Turtles in Time in there as well. It's as dumb as it sounds and unless you're 13 it will not speak to you.

Art Style

Again, heavily inspired by THQ fare like Ren & Stimpy, Rocky and Bullwinkle, et al. The colorful graphics are almost nauseating. Character models are awful, unless you're a big fan of Nickelodeon cartoons from the early 2000s.

Audio

I tried to like it but this soundtrack is horrible.
