RPM Radical Psycho Machine Racing

R.C. Pro-Am. When your car's battery is almost dead

Genre: racing - isometric

Publisher: Interplay

Year: 1992

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 0

Gameplay Notes:

The absolute worst racing gameplay ever. Slooooow movement The track is too narrow for two vehicles so you can't pass. So frustrating. So slow that if you don't have momentum you won't make it up tall hills. So stupid

Level Design Score: 1

Level Design Notes:

Ok fine the tracks have some decent design, but no features. They're devoid of anything remotely interesting. Booooring

Theme Score: 1

Theme Notes:

The extreme 90s motif begins and ends at the title screen. The game is unbelievably boring and bland. Tall about a bait and switch

Art Style Score: 1

Art Style Notes:

Grainy graphics. Flat, boring tracks that all look the same. Just black asphalt and green turn on the ground. The car models are nice, but there's only three of them.

Audio Score: 0

Audio Notes:

The worst music and sound in a SNES game. The music is just a beat and some wah wah wah sounds that play every 5 seconds. Wth!? The pause sound is what happens when an elevator door opens. You've heard of elevator music, this is elevator sound.

Overall Score: 8
