Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare
And now it's your nightmareGenre: action - platform
Publisher: Flying Edge
Year: 1993
System: Genesis
Gameplay Score: 1
Gameplay Notes:
Ill-conceived, non sensical game design. Wander along a street that acts as a level select hub, but is just mindless filler. Your only purpose in this street hub is to avoid the same 5 enemies while watching for a piece of paper to jump onto. That let's you enter a level. Controls are incredibly stiff and eats inputs like crazy. Two attack buttons exist but do nothing The whole thing feels extremely small and constrained
Level Design Score: 1
Level Design Notes:
Levels are dumb mini games that are one trick ponies. I didn't encounter one that I liked.
Theme Score: 3
Theme Notes:
The Simpsons are cool. This game hearkens back to the era when Bart was the main character of the share rather than Homer
