Super Goal! 2 for SNES
Review #567
Super Goal! 2
The Super sequel one
Gameplay
View is behind one net which shows a surprisingly large amount of the field. The downside is the depth is hard to guage and it feels like you're running on a treadmill as you run away from or toward the camera.
Controls are decent. Shots go in the direction you're holding but passes rarely go to the player you want to target.
Can't switch to the nearest player which makes defense tough
I was able to score a goal which is nice.
Level Design
Only two modes plus a PK mini game
Theme
I hate soccer
Art Style
Player models look much better than in the first Goal game. They scale when they are far in the background so they don't look particularly great.
Some nice animations.
Overall I don't like the art as much as other soccer games
Audio
Super annoying in-game music that loops every 3 seconds
