Untouchables for SNES

Image: MobyGames

Untouchables

Perfectly average

Genre: action - gun

Publisher: Ocean

Year: 1994

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 3

Gameplay Notes:

Level select Two types of levels - gallery shooter and platformer Cabal-style gallery shooting with cover system and reloading but with super short time limit Ok platforming levels-at least for a western dev game No ammo to worry about Great controls

Level Design Score: 3

Level Design Notes:

Boring but competent level design. Platforming levels are just three rows of platforms that take you to the right. Gallery shooting ends when you kill enough bad guys.

Theme Score: 3

Theme Notes:

A rare period game. Shoot a bunch of guys in trenchcoats and gangsters hats.

Art Style Score: 3

Art Style Notes:

Striking difference between the two game modes. Gallery levels have realistic artwork while platformer has chibi sprites similar to Lethal Weapon. Reminds me of Demolition Man, another movie-based game.

Audio Score: 3

Audio Notes:

Good sound. Lots of gun shots

Overall Score: 60
