Untouchables for SNES
Review #665
Untouchables
Perfectly average
Gameplay
Level select
Two types of levels - gallery shooter and platformer
Cabal-style gallery shooting with cover system and reloading but with super short time limit
Ok platforming levels-at least for a western dev game
No ammo to worry about
Great controls
Level Design
Boring but competent level design. Platforming levels are just three rows of platforms that take you to the right.
Gallery shooting ends when you kill enough bad guys.
Theme
A rare period game. Shoot a bunch of guys in trenchcoats and gangsters hats.
Art Style
Striking difference between the two game modes. Gallery levels have realistic artwork while platformer has chibi sprites similar to Lethal Weapon. Reminds me of Demolition Man, another movie-based game.
Audio
Good sound. Lots of gun shots
