Gameplay

Same as previous WWF game. Like, the exact same controls, but with greatly improved hit detection and increased speed.
Only notable addition is a grappling meter that shows who is winning. Interesting but mostly pointless. Can't decide which button to mash. Seems to be random each time.
Boring, repetitive gameplay, but at least it performs well.

Same modes as before plus a Battle Royale where six wrestlers jump in at once. Same ring as always.

The SNES version didn't have Hulk Hogan but here he is. Weird

Art Style

Impressive animation
Lots of details like the crowd moving and the announcers ringside.
Big bold sprites with more color that the first WWF game.

As usual, just crows noise and grunts. The ring sounds nice

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
