Fahrenheit

Flame On

Genre: fmv - n/a

Publisher: Sega

Year: 1995

System: Sega CD

Gameplay Score: 1

Gameplay Notes:

Every few seconds you're given a choice to pick a direction to go. The gameplay amounts to simply making a choice and hoping that you have enough air to survive. It's extremely simple and the game gives you a good amount of time to make your choice. As far as interactive movies go, this is about as good as it gets.

Level Design Score: 2

Level Design Notes:

This is about as good as it gets for this genre. Lots of choices - not all which are bad. The levels are long without a ton of repetition.

Theme Score: 4

Theme Notes:

Some of the best acting in an FMV title. Intense firefighting scenes throughout.

Art Style Score: 2

Art Style Notes:

Grainy and red. Looks like an FMV Virtual Boy game. The video is full screen.

Audio Score: 3

Audio Notes:

Finally, an FMV title with music. Everything about the music and sound is immersive. The constant loading is annoying for the music but I like what they did here.

Overall Score: 34
