Gameplay

15 fighters including all the FF2 bosses and a few from FF1.
Plays the same as FF2
The pseudo 3D is here and it's somehow more annoying than in the previous games

Impressive animation. huge sprites and far more detail than the SNES version. One of the best looking fighting games of the era.

Terrific sound quality of the music and voices, although the sound effects don't sound quite right. The PC Engine CD version sounds a hair better.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
