Gameplay

Same as all wrestling games, but with worse hit detection, a smaller moveset, and falls that last a good 10-20 seconds. Oh and matches last for about 20 minutes. Yeah, 20 minutes straight of mindless mashing to complete one whole match. No thanks.

Level Design

Two modes - match and tournament.
Nothing special about the fighters or the ring you fight in. It just an empty square like all the other games. No gimmicks

Theme

Choose from a roster of monsters and then fight within a boring ring. At least King of Monsters has the decency to let you tromp around a city. This is pedestrian by comparison.

Art Style

The beasts are pretty cool. I love the character models. But they don't animate well and there's nothing in the ring.

Audio

I enjoyed the music. It's typical Renovation stuff with good composition and some interesting multiple channels going on. The sounds are awful but the soundtrack ain't bad.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
