Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball

Shove and shoot. And shove

Genre: sports - basketball

Publisher: Hudson Soft

Year: 1991

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 0

Gameplay Notes:

So so so so so so bad Having the ball is the worst thing you can do. It's seriously better to pass the ball to the opponent so you can tackle him and steal the ball from him. Gameplay is incredibly slow. Passing is impossible so just throw the ball up court or away from you and then tackle the ball carrier. After scoring you can stun lock the enemy by attacking immediately after the pass in and then shoot from close range. The opponent will do the same so it works both ways.

Level Design Score: 1

Level Design Notes:

Hah.

Theme Notes:

Rollerball motif. Uh, nope

Art Style Score: 0

Hideous. View is top down, literally. Looks like Boxing for the Atari 2600

Actually not too shabby.
