Gameplay

Nice first attempt but the formula hasn't been perfected yet.
Strictly a multiplayer only game. Well there's a single player mode where you have to clear the screen of baddies but this is tedious at best. Not only do you have to kill the slow, brain dead enemies but you then have to find the exit which is hidden under a random block. Blowing up every single block to end the stage is utterly mind numbing.
The multiplayer is probably fine...but you can't play it with CPU controlled players. So yeah, find a more recent game in this franchise.

Audio

I hope you like the classic Bomberman song. It's the only song in this game and is a simple version of the song compared to the multi layered version in the SNES and Genesis games.
