Gameplay

Slow movement and long animations.
Teammates and opponents are morons. They barely move. Passing is impossible so the best strategy is to get the puck, Make a beeline for the net, and take a shot. Every fifth or 6th shot goes in.
Isometric view.

NHL and NHLPA license, but all players are just a number.

Art Style

Not a fan of the isometric view. The camera is too low. Sprites are detailed and animate slowly but look good. The field and stands look like a garbage dump though

Menu music is terrible. In game crowd noise reacts to the action so good job there. And the play by play is annoying but can be disabled

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
