Gameplay

This isn't so much a sports game as it is a rhythm-based mini-game with only one event. Basically, just find the right spot to stand, the right location to aim at, and then hit the power and spin dials at their apex to get a strike every time. I get that there's a bit of strategy when shooting for a spare, but if you can ace that initial bowl the game becomes quite uninteresting.
That said, the physics and gameplay on display here are impressive. Wii Sports has forever tainted my view of bowling games, but this is pretty good.

Level Design

Has tournaments and leagues, but I would never play anything other than a quick match. It has like 5 different oil patterns, which I didn't realize were a thing in this "sport" so...yay? I dunno, it's just a bowling game to me.

Theme

Not a fan of bowling.

Art Style

Animations are impressive, but the art style doesn't say "video game" to me. Looks like that bowling alley your grandpa plays at.

Audio

Awful music which mercifully can be turned off. Sound effects are spot-on realistic.
