Gameplay

Extremely simple controls. See my comments over on Battle Grand Prix. Just hold the gas button and turn to the left or to adjust the angle of your car. Whereas BGP moved in 11.25 degree increments this one is 22.5 meaning that there are fewer button presses each time you turn. This makes it easier to turn, but the game is still barebones in terms of what's happening so the overall experience isn't markedly different.

Level Design

Who knows? I couldn't get past the qualifying lap. I consistently completed a lap in 46 seconds but the minimum required time was 45 seconds. After 8 tries I was done for good

Theme

See my notes on BGP. Overhead driving games are not fun

Art Style

Extremely simple graphics that at least have some nice colors and cute Speed Racer-style car models.

Audio

You can barely hear the music behind the obnoxious engine noise. Mute this game
