Gameplay

Mine cart level can only be completed by memorizing the level. You have absolutely no time to react. Each time you fail you lose a life so three falls and it's game over. No continues either. Holy cow man.
Combat is full of nuance that's mostly unwelcome and confusing. Even basic goons dodge and counterattack your sword slashes which look more like you're trying to beat them with the butt of the sword instead of the pointy end. From the options screen you can toggle between Swordplay and Brawling fighting style. This changes the main attack from melee to using the sword. This is just weird.

Level Design

Beats me. I played for 20 min without beating the stupid mine cart level. I hate this game.

Theme

Based on some dumb movie I have no interest in watching. Looks like a prequel to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Yawn

Art Style

Looks like the Monkey Island game. As in, running on a PC back in 1990. The sprites have no shading or details and look archaic next to something like Final Fight. They animate very well so I guess the devs traded fidelity for animation.

Audio

Not good music and... does it even have any sound effects? I don't think it does
