Gameplay

Can turn on an AI 2nd player! This creates massive slowdown but is very cool nonetheless.
Can also turn on or off friendly fire.
Pretty fun as a 2P game.
A few more special moves than the first two but mostly the same gameplay.
4 players to choose from and 3 are usable. Guy, Mike and newcomer Dean.

Level Design

Only 6 levels but they're all decent. Only one has verticality. One happens on top of a bus and another inside the bus like Rival Turf.

Theme

Cut scenes tell the story. Another gang had taken over for Mad Gear and killed some guy's family. Typical stuff.

Art Style

Takes a slightly more cartoony look.
Very well drawn sprites and backgrounds.
Excellent colors like the hot reds in the factory. Looks great.

Music isn't great. Sounds are very good

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk. There's an optional Active Battle System and an innovative Single and Team techniques system. No grinding necessary.
