Football Fury for SNES

Image: MobyGames

Football Fury

Tecmo Bowl's evil twin

Genre: sports - football

Publisher: Amer Sammy

Year: 1993

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 1

Gameplay Notes:

No pause button Tecmo Bowl clone right down to TD animations, defense picking a play that overwhelms your play. No audibles Zoomed in camera makes it possible to see anything but the top receiver. Passing is difficult. Press the receiver's assigned button to open a fast gauge and click again to pick the speed (maybe) of the pass. Very dificult. Opponents have a tacklebot. They never miss a tackle and appear out of nowhere to take you down. No idea how to avoid them. Tackle animation takes no time - they just teleport instantly onto you. Linemen jump up and block your throw 25% of the time. So annoying
