Gameplay

Slow movement.
Attacks have a short reach. The jump attack has really poor hit detection so I found it to be very unreliable.
Three playable characters but they play identically.
Occasionally climb on a dragon.
Enemies are super annoying. They do the Double Dragon thing and do all they can to surround you. They start just out of reach while the do so. You have to be lined up just perfectly to hit them.
Enemies also like to stun lock you.
There's a screen filling magic system and plentiful pick ups for it.

Level Design

Some really nice level design. First off The depth of the field is huge. It takes up about 80% of the screen so there's lots of room to fight. Levels. Levels have a lot of different platforms and features that make them interesting to look at and traverse. The waves of enemies are pretty mundane. You face off against two to four bad guys at a time. But honestly, the level design is probably the highlight of this game.

Theme

Yet another Conan and Red Sonja game. This one features a bad guy, Death, adder and quite a handful of enemies who look like they belong in this universe. So at least the theme is consistent here.

Art Style

Very minimal animation. The sprites are well drawn with minimal color and no shading. The backgrounds are okay. Nothing spectacular but certainly better than a lot of games in this genre.

Audio

The music here is pretty fun and on point with the theme. But the sounds are ridiculously bad. Every single time you defeating enemy they let out a blood-curdling scream that pauses all other sound in the game. Several other voice samples play and again sound awful.
