Gameplay

This is a proper sequel. More of the same great gameplay with a few added abilities. Unfortunately, many of the new abilities are hard to use, like Erik's double jump and Balrog's grappling hook.
The addition of three more playable characters who have different combinations of the abilities of the three main characters is fun.

Level Design

Excellent level design, just like the original. Unfortunately, some of the moves require perfect execution which can be extremely difficult. If the controls were a bit better this would be near perfection. I prefer the simplicity of the original.

Theme

Hilarious. The high-tech upgrades are a nice addition.

Art Style

Graphics are upgraded from the original but retain the low-key, minimal animation from the first game. Nice job.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
