Gameplay

It's standard Bomberman with a few added elements like kangaroos to ride around on. These don't add much to the formula, unfortunately.
The real kicker here is the lack of 4 player support, although that's not the game's fault. Still, there are better versions of this game.
Actually the real problem is a ridiculous amount of slowdown. The SNES and TG-16 installments in this franchise perform significantly better.

Has the familiar 1p story mode to go along with the much more interesting battle mode.

Happy, peppy, colorful. All the qualities that are surely lacking the many many Western developed Genesis games.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
