Gameplay

Gameplay takes a slight step backward for two reasons:
1. Powering up your shot has three levels instead of just one. I don't like the added complexity.
2. More importantly, there is a TON of slowdown which is very confusing.
Otherwise it's the same game as the original.

Level Design

Same great level design. Every battle is a boss battle that you have to figure out a strategy. Unique in this genre.

After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
