Ok props for adding three different skill levels on the Tournament, but it's still just the same thing. The levels have some more interactivity like uppercutting your opponent through the roof. Props for that I suppose.

Artwork is worse than the previous two games. Sprites are smaller and the quality seems worse. So ugly especially bad on the Genesis.

Sound quality takes a step back. Some of the voices are ridiculously bad, like Sonya who sounds like an old man.
