Gameplay

Worthy Madden competitor
Passing game works well enough. Gotta make quick decisions but manageable because of the vision and the helpful colored guides that prominently show who is open
Ball carriers go down real easy which me makes running plays real tough.
Your player slows down a lot when you cut up field so movement isn't perfect not as good as the later Madden titles

Nifty features like a drive summary, in game stats, and the ability to flip any play

Player models look great. Excellent artwork but with a touch too much shading. Game looks a bit dark.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
