Gameplay

Haha this is just stupid. The laggiest controls of all time. Press A button and 1-2 seconds later your order is carried out.
First level is nothing but cheap hits and an infinitely spawning hoard of enemies to run from.
Crappy hit detection.
Super slow movement.
The first boss is nearly unbeatable as you can't evade his attacks and he hits harder than you. The only way I figured out feels like an exploit - I got just inside his hitbox and attacked such that his attack went past me. Without that, the game has 2 minutes of gameplay.
Oh and at the start of each stage there's a long loading that puts Street Fighter Alpha 2 to shame.

Level Design

First level has some potential - go to the right but there are platforms in the tree you can get to via climbing vines. Kinda cool.

Theme

Was this a movie? Whatever. You're an unarmed guy with a bunch of goons chasing you. Not much of a setup.

Art Style

Really ugly Flashback. Grainy flat uninteresting backgrounds. Simple sprites with minimal detail or shading. Also minimal frames of animation.

Audio

Music isn't bad. Sound effects are lazy and uninteresting. Oof. Slash. That's about the extent of the sounds.
