Gameplay

Rapidly press A and B. That's it. That's 95% of this game. Occasionally you have to press Up after pressing A and B repeatedly but that only makes it worse because I can't press two buttons with my fingers. I need thumbs for that punishment but that makes it impossible to get over to the d-pad.
If they had only made it require one button I might even like this game.
Basically, this game just sucks completely.

Level Design

Instead of being a collection of minigames, this is essentially one minigame repeated over and over with minor graphical differences – sometimes you stab the ground with a pole, sometimes you stab the ground with a javelin and sometimes, if you’re particularly bad at hitting the up arrow, you fall and stab the ground with your face.
This time I tried Archery and Skeet. They're mildly interesting but not enough to save this sorry collection

Theme

Yeah it's the Olympics but we all know it's just a shallow collection of minigames. Props for including a ton of events and for including Olympics and World records. Presentation isn't this game's problem.

Art Style

Good animation. The athletes have no face which is a bit disconcerting. Graphics are a touch worse than the SNES version but still decent.

Audio

Annoying music doesn't feel Olympic at all.
