Pac-Land
Break Time at the church with TinkerbellGenre: action - platform
Publisher: NEC
Year: 1990
System: TurboGrafx-16
Gameplay Score: 3
Gameplay Notes:
It's a runner with the weirdest controls ever. II makes you go left while I makes you move right. Pressing any direction on the d-pad makes you jump and alternating II and I make you hover in the air. Uhh, ok Once you get used to the weird controls it's not that bad. It scratches that speed running itch anyway.
Level Design Score: 3
Level Design Notes:
Levels are strange. Each level area few new elements to keep things fresh. Some are squirrelly, like the bounce pads that sometimes work and sometimes don't. I think it's safe to say this hasn't aged as well as SMB which released at about the same time.
Theme Score: 2
Theme Notes:
I've never been much of a Pac-Man fan so this does nothing for me.

Looks like an early 80s arcade game. And that's because it is
