Gameplay

Sloooooow movement. Unbearably so.
All attacks throw projectiles. You can charge them up to three different levels which theoretically it's helpful but it's challenging to know what level you're at and what type of attack you're going to throw.
You can aim up and sometimes diagonally but this is wildly inconsistent.
Enemies move very fast and tend to come in at inconvenient angles.
Incredibly short jump is almost completely useless.
Four characters to choose from and you can switch between them midstage, TMNT-style.

Level Design

Go to the right. Enemies don't respawn which is nice. You just have to inch along and take them out one at a time to avoid getting overwhelmed.
Bosses are horrible. They love to shoot unavoidable screen filling projectiles. Not fun.

Theme

Who knows? There's no story that I can find and it's vaguely modern Japanese setting. Maybe?
Completely forgettable

Art Style

Ugly by any standard.
Tall lean sprites aren't terribly interesting. Minimal animation.

Audio

Some decent tunes. Has a rock feel to them, which doesn't match the Japanese setting but whatever.
Sound quality is not great and has those patented Genesis twangs and burp sounds.
