Much faster movement. Main attack is still a shuriken. You now have a jump kick which is very welcome. Enemies block attacks and have much longer reach than you. Greatly improved but still tough as nails for all the wrong reasons.

Still pretty basic. A few gimmicks were added but the formula is still the same - go right thing out one or two enemies at a time and pick up ammo in boxes. Level 3 has the obligatory elevator ride but it's so boring! It's several minutes long but almost completely empty. It's all decent, but not particularly special.

Vast improvement over Revenge. Reminds me of Rolling Thunder 2. Excellent animation and sprites. Cool effects like parallax in the horse riding stage and lighting in the cave.

Good but not nearly as good as Revenge of Shinobi. Excellent sounds.
