Gameplay

I could see getting into this game.
Includes a tutorial which is GREATLY appreciated.
Mouse controls are well done even with the d-pad. Your placement doesn't have to be precise.
Minimal number of menus.

Level Design

I really like how the game takes place in small quadrants of a very large map. Complete one section and move onto the next. Nice structure.

Theme

You're an ant trying to take over a yard and drove out the humans from their home. Inventive bit not super exciting.

Some silly music. Sets the mood nicely but not something to brag about.

There's an optional Active Battle System and an innovative Single and Team techniques system. No grinding necessary. An assortment of sidequests and minigames like the actions you take at the Millennial Fair which influence how the trial plays out. One thing that I greatly appreciate is that you are never alone in a one-character party. You are joined by 3 other playable characters within the first hour of play. Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
