Pretty standard stuff. Nothing memorable or interesting

Theme

Awesome movie...but the first levels of the game play out in innocuous caves. Doesn't exactly follow the plot of the movie.
But hey, you play as Kurt Freaking Russell

Good graphics, if you like pre-rendered art (less dark and grainy than Demolition Man)
overly long animations make movement a chore

There's an optional Active Battle System and an innovative Single and Team techniques system. No grinding necessary. An assortment of sidequests and minigames like the actions you take at the Millennial Fair which influence how the trial plays out. One thing that I greatly appreciate is that you are never alone in a one-character party. You are joined by 3 other playable characters within the first hour of play. Being able to switch your party members on the fly is also a welcome quality of life feature. No random battles. The Game+ feature! What an awes...

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
