Can barely move. Worse platforming than in Empire. Why is it getting worse with every game? Can pick from multiple characters - Luke, Leia, Chewy

Level 1 is just a series of platforms too small and too high to jump to with enemies popping out for cheap hits. The level dives downward for a long time encouraging blind jumps then suddenly has a bottomless pit without any warning
