Gameplay

Objective is to touch every part of every platform and ladder to bring back color.
However, your character moves so fast that everything feels like precision platforming despite the large platforms. You have to lightly touch the d-pad to avoid flying off in every direction.
Gameplay is like the demon spawn of Lost Vikings, Q*Bert, and Sonic at full speed.
Can't bop enemies. Only attack is throwing food at them to stun and then you have to touch to finish them off. Throw takes a word arch so is unpredictable where to stand when attacking. Very strange mechanic. Also have a spin attack but with very minimal ammo.

Level Design

Good platforming and level design that builds in complexity as you go from level to level. Fill the screen with color and the level ends. I like the clear objective.

Theme

Oh the horrors of staring at these trolls characters. My eyes are bleeding. Please make it stop

Art Style

I'll give the artists credit for capturing the nightmarish look of the Trolls, and for putting them in a similarly unsettling world, but this is not a place I ever want to visit.
The graphics themselves are ok, if a bit flat. There's an annoying animated background at all times, plus hideous but well drawn and animated sprites. The effect of bringing color to the world is neat, but doesn't make up for the horrors of this world.

Audio

Its as bad as you might expect. The music is nauseatingly cheery with a fast beat. Sounds are an unholy assortment of burps and fart noises. Not cute
