Tecmo Super Baseball for SNES

Tecmo Super Baseball

Another Tecmo-built pretty good sports game

Genre: sports - baseball

Publisher: Tecmo

Year: 1994

System: SNES

Gameplay Score: 4

Gameplay Notes:

The more I play it the more I like it Use face buttons to pick pitch or type of swing (normal, power, contact). Adds depth without slowing things down much. Fast paced gameplay Fielding is down is a view that is behind the outfield bleachers but follows the ball. Jarring at first but works well the more you use it. Throwing to a base is backwards from most games but again it matches the view so it works well. Responsive controls. Running the bases is done with R to advance or L to retreat and works well. Pitching/hitting view can be toggled between pitcher or catcher view. Not sure why
