Gameplay

The more I play it the more I like it
Use face buttons to pick pitch or type of swing (normal, power, contact). Adds depth without slowing things down much.
Fast paced gameplay
Fielding is down is a view that is behind the outfield bleachers but follows the ball. Jarring at first but works well the more you use it.
Throwing to a base is backwards from most games but again it matches the view so it works well.
Responsive controls.
Running the bases is done with R to advance or L to retreat and works well.
Pitching/hitting view can be toggled between pitcher or catcher view. Not sure why

An assortment of sidequests and minigames like the actions you take at the Millennial Fair which influence how the trial plays out. One thing that I greatly appreciate is that you are never alone in a one-character party. You are joined by 3 other playable characters within the first hour of play.
