Gameplay

Almost no controls. You go automatically and only use the dpad to switch tracks or to brake.

Level Design

Very different than the SNES version. That one was a simple collection of 6 mini games. This is just one game played a few different ways.
Just chug along on an overhead track.
No map to help you go anywhere.
After 10 minutes you've seen the whole game.

Crappy kids show. But it's trains which is cool

Very simple artwork. Creepy Sir Toppam Hat.
Dark colors, not vibrant enough.

Great sound. Music is fun and interesting and you can change it.
Sounds and voice samples are garbled.

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
