Wacky Worlds Creativity Studio

Genre: educational - n/a

Publisher: Sega

Year: 1994

System: Genesis

Gameplay Score: 0

Gameplay Notes:

Not sure what to even call this game. You click and drag animated and non animated sprites onto a canvas. That's the full extent of the game's objective. You can add motion paths to the sprites and mix music using predefined blocks. It's interesting for about 2 mins but ultimately hollow.

Level Design Score: 1

Level Design Notes:

There are five or six different themes with backgrounds and sprites to match but it's all cosmetic. There's nothing else to do.

Theme Score: 1

Theme Notes:

I like the idea, I guess. The animations are fun to look at, like a sticker sheet. But then you're done. The themed areas include things like a haunted house, a knight and princess, etc. There's also the obligatory Sonic sprite which doesn't fit anything else.

Art Style Score: 3

Art Style Notes:

Again the art is attractive

Audio Score: 1

Audio Notes:

Weird music. The ability to mix it is confusing and not particularly fun. I muted it before turning it off

Overall Score: 14
