Gameplay

I'm not quite sure how to explain this game. You and the opponent s are on different planes. Either the foreground or the background and fire projectiles at one another using the ABX and y buttons. Each one goes to a different corner of the screen and you yourself can be either on a top level or a bottom level. And that's pretty much it you shoot at each other and hope you hit. It's truly awful gameplay. The novelty wears off almost immediately and you just wind up spamming buttons.

Level Design

There's a two-player versus mode and a story mode. Each level you face off against a different opponent like any normal fighting game. But your abilities don't change from fight to fight. So there's not much to learn or do you.

Theme

Oh boy, where to begin? There's some post-apocalyptic setting going on where orcs have conquered the world or something. But everyone you meet has supernatural abilities and your name is Dark Schneider. The second opponent is flamboyantly gay. It's all kind of crazy and not in a good way

Art Style

Mode 7 is used extensively and to great effect. The backgrounds are extremely well drawn and the sprites look fine although fairly small. But the game looks great, both in screenshots and in motion.

Audio

The music has a hard Rock feel to it but the tracks are extremely short and get old quickly. Plus you'll be spamming, projectiles over and over. Making the sound effects get super annoying.
