Gameplay

Hey, I can actually get around the pitch! The controls are great, and players spread out enough that you can run around, pass and shoot. I still don't care for soccer, but this one plays quite well.

Level Design

Several modes, but the best one is Exhibition which lets you pick up and play quickly.

Theme

Most of the menus are in English. Very pick up and play, with a simple, arcade look and feel. The World Cup countries are here with recognizable names and strengths.

The sprites are simple but have incredible animation which doesn't slow down the gameplay.

Audio

Ok, like so many of these games, the noise crowd is unbearably awful. You can turn on music but it's barely audible behindthe constant hum of the crowd. Why do they do this!?

Includes an unbelievably annoying weight system, limiting both what you can carry and what your character can use as a weapon. If you’re overloaded, you are unable to move. After buying a few things at the weapons shop I thought the game was broken. I had to Google it and read about this weight mechanic. So stupid. It makes the game nigh unplayable. Even with a minimal inventory of a knife, a helm, and two food rations I could barely walk.
