Gameplay

I couldn't figure out a single special move. Ever now and then something random would happen but otherwise just straight punches and kicks. The only novel feature is using R and L to dash toward or away from your opponent. But dashing toward the opponent always results in them blocking or grabbing you and throwing you. Not all fighters have a throw including the main character. 8 selectable fighters. Overall it just kind of boring. Oh and no difficulty settings.

Level Design

Boring stages with nothing in the background. Only a story and VS mode, which can be played 1P, at least. A weird "Edit" mode which I assume allows you to create a custom combo but I have no idea.

Theme

It's some sort of high school karate thing. The main character is a girl wearing a full gi. It has a realistic setting. Even the moves each character uses are grounded in reality. Frankly, it's kind of boring.

Art Style

Tiny sprites that are animated well but aren't terribly interesting. Even the costumes are boring. No animation in the backgrounds, although one arena has transparent fog on the floor. Otherwise, very underwhelming.

Audio

Some rocking tunes, although the music is a little quiet. Sound was actually one of my favorite things about the game.
