Gameplay

Moves slow but looks great. I appreciate the customization options including the difficulty, and an easy button mapping for your special move. Hmm, maybe that's it. I thought it was more. There are a lot of fighters (12) although several are completely useless - the game has terrible balance.
Controls are responsive but slow. Most attacks have short reach. Great hit detection.

Level Design

Wonderful VS mode where you can pick fighters and set difficulty settings between each match. Nice pick up and play.

Theme

A bunch of non-threatening anime girls during it out. This is the softest fighting roster of all time.

Art Style

Fantastic artwork and animation. The sprites are immaculate! But the character designs themselves are boring.
