Gameplay

Windjammers is the more well-known Pong/Air Hockey game, but this one came out a year earlier. If you've ever played air hockey you know what to expect. It's a one-button game, and probably better for it. Its simplicity eliminates most of the randomness and unfair craziness that typifies this sort of competitive game. However, the simplicity also does limit the game's longevity.
Still, it's twitch gameplay at its finest.

Level Design

With such simple gameplay, it's the levels which give this game its fun factor. Each stage brings a new puzzle to solve. Should I move up? Stay back? Aim for the walls? Avoid the angled walls? It's all good fun, and the ability to enter passwords make it possible to skip to any level. Good stuff

Theme

Hello Kitty. Not my cup of tea.

Art Style

Super colorful artwork with excellent FPS and smooth scrolling. The character designs are an acquired taste, but there's no denying that this game looks great.

Audio

Again, the theme isn't my favorite, and let's just say that the music fits it perfectly. However, I found myself bobbingnmy head to he simple song, and thoroughly enjoying the pop pop sounds effects that accurately match the speed and brutality of each hit.
