Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire
Blade Runner meets TMNT IV starring Powerpuff GirlsGenre: shooter - vertical
Publisher: Hudson Soft
Year: 1995
System: PCE CD
Gameplay Score: 4
Gameplay Notes:
Slow movement with no adjustment. Three great weapons that upgrade quickly and are so OP that the game is very easy. Options will zoom to an enemy of you stop firing for a few seconds to charge them up. You can shoot many projectiles to cancel them out.
Level Design Score: 4
Level Design Notes:
Five long levels. Time travel to different eras, beginning in the late 21st century. Stages don't have many interesting elements although the mod and end bosses are good.
Theme Score: 4

Blade Runner meets TMNT IV starring Powerpuff Girls
Art Style Score: 5
Art Style Notes:
Unbelievable! Looks like a Saturn game. Incredible pixel art, tons of polygonal sprites, beefy explosions, sprite scaling and rotation. This is like nothing else I've seen in this generation.
Audio Score: 2
Audio Notes:
Yet another shooter whose shooting sound effects overshadow a good soundtrack. The sounds are SOOO annoying!
