Motteke Tamago
Cock fightGenre: arcade - n/a
Publisher: Naxat Soft
Year: 1997
System: PCE CD
Gameplay Score: 1
Gameplay Notes:
Terrible Bomberman clone. Movement feels fine, but everything else about the gameplay sucks. The objective is convoluted - collect eggs, wait for them to hatch and hope that the hatched chicks return to your base. Side objectives are to pick up powerups and to knock out opponents to separate them from chicks and their own power ups. However, the frequency of these pickups causes the game to quickly devolve into chaos as one of two opponents gather more and more strength until they are barreling around the screen, keeping you perpetually stun locked. If you somehow keep your head above water you survive it even win a round but doing so is highly unlikely. Apparently it was not released as a retail product, but was rather bundled on a CD with a magazine.
Level Design Score: 4
Level Design Notes:
It's a shame the gameplay is so bad because the one screen stage design is great. 30 stages can be selected at any time too.
