Power Tennis
Don't make me serveGenre: sports - tennis
Publisher: Hudson Soft
Year: 1993
System: PCE
Gameplay Score: 3
Gameplay Notes:
This is the only tennis game where the server is at a distinct advantage. After returning the initial serve the receivier can run up to the net before the server can move at all. This happens every time without fail, such that no long volleys ever take place. You can do the same to the computer, but this makes every point feel the same. Hit detection isn't quite right, which leads to many swings and misses. I'd be perfectly happy if this was my only 16-bit tennis game, as it plays pretty well all things considering, but there are better options out there.
