Gameplay Notes:
Reminds me of that Sutte game for the Super Famicom where the game amounts to carefully dropping blocks in just the right position. Place it just wrong and you're dead. The controls are strange, but not unlike other single screen puzzlers. A kicks, B picks up blocks, and C jumps. Your jump is short so again the core mechanic is using blocks in precise patterns to create staircases for climbing or squeezing through short passages. I found myself fighting the controls more than the puzzles and having little fun while doing it.
Level Design Score: 1
Level Design Notes:
I only made it through 5 stages before coming to one that I swear is impossible. Sheer crap
Theme Score: 2
Theme Notes:
You look like Ranger Rock and you're delving into an Egyptian pyramid. A mummy ghost guards the exit and you need to acquire a series of keys to find a piece of papyrus which kills the ghost. Mm k
Art Style Score: 2
Art Style Notes:
Your sprite is kinda cute. The rest of the game uses about 5 total.toles. Every room looks identical.
Audio Score: 1
Audio Notes:
There's one song that sounds like when you're about to run out of time. You know what I mean - the "hurry up countdown" song to add tension. It's horribly repetitive and annoying.
